Do your Mother (and All Women) a Favor

Breast Thermography Available in Hawaii
thermography

How many women do you know who perform regular breast self-exams? Remind the women in your life to care for theirs... ask them to be aware of their breast health.

Breast cancer is highly treatable when caught early. In honor of your mother, and make sure the women in your life are aware of their breast health.

A new service from Breast Thermography from Thermal Imaging Hawaii gives you an accurate visual picture of the inflammations, infections, circulatory and toxicity issues that affect your health, particularly your breast health. Without the dangerous side effects of radiation or compression, infrared images safely and comfortably rate your breast risk and show you your current health stresses.

The BIG Mother is having "Opala" Overload

The 4 R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Recover
Maui Landfill

"Opala" is the Hawaiian word for garbage, and Oahu generates approximately 1.5 million tons of it annually from residential, commercial and industrial sources.

At your home, about 15% of your trash is recyclable newspaper, aluminum, glass and plastic; and 25 - 30% is compostable yard trimmings. Most of our garbage is sent to landfills, dumps or municipal incinerators. But with more and more people producing more and more waste, landfills are filling up faster than we can find new sites for them.

Hawaiian Ocean Safety

What all visitors & residents need to know

The waters in the tropical postcard of the Hawaiian Seashore is always picture perfect. In reality Hawaii is the most isolated land mass in the world- in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with seasonal storms and swells that bring rapidly changing ocean conditions even on sunny days. On the average, 12 people drown each year on Kauai alone.

Use wisdom in choosing time and place before jumping into the Hawaiian waters. Click the link below to learn about which beaches are safe on which islands, and to learn about the dangers of sharks, jellyfish, leptospirosis and more.
